The Afternoon Circle will meet on Monday, October 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Warren. Mary Lou Harrison will be the co-hostess. Sarah Wells will do the Bible Lesson. The Evening Circle will meet on Monday, October 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the Dining Room at the church. The meal will be potluck and Georgie Craig will provide the main meat entree. The Morning Circle will meet on Tuesday, October 9th at 9:30 a.m. in the Ladies Parlor. Casseroles for the Gulf Coast are due on Tuesday, October 30th. Please bring your casseroles to the church. The Sanctuary Flowers today are given to the glory of God and in loving memory of William Allen Truesdell by Jim and Sonja Truesdell. A new First-Trinity directory will be published soon. A draft is in the Kirk House. Please take a moment today and look through it and make any changes that might be needed. Thank you for helping to make the new directory as current as possible. Liturgy means “work of the people.” The Worship Committee wants to encourage a greater participation from the congregation in the leadership of worship. Rachel Caldwell is co-ordinating the efforts and will assist those who might be interested in delivering a children’s message; leading the prayers of the people; leading the opening prayers; or reading scripture. The Halloween Carnival will beheld Wednesday, October 24th. Begin planning your costume now. There is a sign-up sheet at the Sign-up center for you to donate items for the Cake Walk. Don’t miss this fun time. Secret Pals Needed - If you would like to volunteer to be a Secret Pal for one of our College Students in the 2007-08 year, please sign the sign-up sheet at the Sign-up center on the table outside the kitchen as soon as possible.
